Self-AwarenessI have a BA in English/Spanish and a Masters degree in Counseling. I enjoy working with language including writing and business communications. The overlapping fields of language arts and healing that led me to become certified as a Transformative Language Artist. I was trained as an instructor/facilitator at the Center for Journal Therapy in Denver, Colorado.

It's often thought that our growth processes happen in a specific way. It's true that we share similar paths in life, but we experience them individually. When you choose an Awaken Arts Course, you'll be in the right place wherever you are on your journey.
All images in the Picture-Series emerged first—created in a state of awareness that Carl Jung might describe as naïve—for I brought them to life without conscious knowledge of the process guiding me. Jung called this natural unfolding of imagery Individuation, the journey toward self-awareness and transformation.
The language of symbols and metaphors is one of parables—a visual and intuitive way of understanding life’s deeper truths. Images serve as catalysts, enriching and amplifying our connection to Spiritual Nature.
A pioneer in the study of archetypes, Carl Jung revealed their dual essence: they exist as both energies and entities, a fusion of affect (emotion) and imagery. In this artistic space, where words give way to shapes, and shapes give way to words, archetypal energies come alive—blending language and visuals into a transformative experience.
I have found that there is an intelligence in Art which becomes apparent through the creation process.
My mission is to guide you on your journey to self-discovery and transformation. With a Masters in Counseling and certifications as a Transformative Language Artist and Journal Instructor, I share my knowledge and expertise to support your growth.
